to Tie a Half Windsor Knot
How to Tie a Full Windsor Knot
4-In-Hand
Tie - Best for use with a woven necktie or neckties
with a heavier fabric. This knot is the smallest requiring the least
amount of tie fabric to be tied.
 |
Start with the
wide end of the tie on your right and extend it approximately
a foot below the narrow end. Depending upon the size
of your neck you may require a little more or less than
the 1 foot length.
|
 |
Cross the wide end
over the narrow end of the tie. |
 |
Continue wrapping
around the wide end across the front of the narrow end of
the tie across the front.
|
 |
Pass the wide end
of the tie up through the loop. |
 |
Holding the front
of the knot loose with your index finger, pass the wide end
of the tie down through knot loop in the front. |
 |
Remove your finger
and tighten the knot carefully. Draw up the knot up
tight to your collar by holding the narrow end and sliding
the knot snug. |
