Product Description: Palm Beach portly suits are cut fuller in the stomach area than standard size suits. A portly cut is ideal for you if the suit coat fits comfortably in the shoulders, but is 2 inches or more too tight when the coat is buttoned at the waist. The Palm Beach Reflex suit is made of 100% worsted wool in a year round weight. The suit material is a “natural stretch” fabric meaning it has been specifically woven to allow maximum stretch or give in any direction. Unlike other suit fabrics that are made with Lycra or Spandex, a natural stretch fabric will not pill or lose its elasticity. This fabric just performs much better. The suit model is a 2 button front with a center vent in the back. The coat features a flex yoke for more flexibility in the shoulders and arms. The suit trousers are available in plain front (also known as flat front) or pleated (double reverse pleats) models. Both trouser models feature a self adjusting comfort waistband that can actually expand 2 full inches in the waist. Unlike less expensive comfort waist pants, the expanding mechanism is completely hidden. These suit separates come in a variety of sizes tailored to fit any desired look, style and frame with ease. To determine the jacket "specialty" i.e. regular, long, or short use the chart below:
Short - 5'7" or shorter
Regular - 5'8" to 5'11" tall
Long - - 6' to 6'2" tall
To determine trouser rise - the depth in the crotch - look to the suit jacket specialty as a guideline. For example, a person wearing a long coat generally wears a long rise trouser. Please also consider how high you wear your trousers on your waist. A man wearing his trousers low on his waist my want to consider a short rise trouser. When in doubt, choose a regular rise trouser.
