HOW
ARTHUR RESIDENTS NO LONGER HAVE TO WORK THEIR SCHEDULE AROUND PICKING
UP THEIR DRY CLEANING.
FOR
IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ARTHUR,
IL - February 21, 2004 - Simple amenities like having local dry
cleaner is often taken for granted for those residents living in
a larger city. However, when you live in a rural town like Arthur,
going to the dry cleaners becomes an all-afternoon affair.
Despite
having a bustling downtown and countryside full of Amish businesses
the one service missing was a local dry cleaner - until now. Delbert's
Clothing, a menswear retail store, located in the heart of downtown
Arthur has become a weekly drop-off and pick-up point for Peerless
Cleaners of Decatur.
The
prices Peerless charges will be the same as if someone went to their
physical location in Decatur. Delbert's will not receive any compensation
associated with handling the dry cleaning. The drop-off and pick-up
is scheduled for Wednesday mornings.
Arthur
residents and surrounding communities will now have a timesaving
alternative to having their clothes dry cleaned and shirts laundered.
"It's really a win - win arrangement for everyone" said Terry Clark
manager of Delbert's Clothing. "It saves our clients time, Peerless
increases their market reach, and obviously we will benefit from
additional foot traffic," commented Clark.
Peerless
Cleaners has been in business since 1945 and the fire and water
restoration business since 1981 in Decatur, Illinois.
