Men's Palm Beach Brand Is Now Austin Reed
As of the Spring 2010 selling season the Palm Beach brand has been merged into the Austin Reed brand. The information below explains the merger of these two storied brands.

Looking For Palm Beach Reflex?
What appears to be some bad news really isn't. Simply explained, Palm Beach is merging with Austin Reed. In the near future, you will no longer be able to purchase the Reflex clothing bearing the Palm Beach label, however, you can still purchase this exact same, great fitting clothing under the Austin Reed label. The entire Palm Beach Reflex collection featuring suits, blazers, casual pants and dress trousers are now part of the Black Label division of Austin Reed. |
So What Does This REALLY Mean?
According to HMX LLC the parent company that produces Palm Beach, Austin Reed, Hart Schaffner & Marx and Hickey Freeman, "the Austin Reed Black Label Reflex collection will embody the same engineered construction, fabric, fit and price as the current Palm Beach Offering..." In other words, the only changes being made to the garment are the tags. Since we carry a large inventory of casual and dress pants, suit separates, and blazers featuring the Reflex model, an order for any of these items may come with either a Palm Beach or Austin Reed label. We anticipate it will take several months before the Palm Beach inventory is completely merged and relabeled as Austin Reed.
So, Why the Change?
That is a good question! At Delbert's, we believe it was done for branding purposes. Namely, HMX LLC is combining two similarly positioned priced product lines into a single brand - Austin Reed. Thus, when you get right down to it, all any man wants is great fitting, comfortable, quality clothing regardless of the label. We are confident the consistency of quality you have come to expect from Palm Beach clothes will continue with Austin Reed.
