and Exchanges
Unaltered
Merchandise - At
Delbert's we unconditionally guarantee all unaltered merchandise
purchased from us either at our store in Arthur, Illinois or on-line.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return
it within 30 days for a refund, credit or exchange.
Altered
Merchandise - Unfortunately, merchandise which has
been altered cannot be resold by us. Thus, if any item purchased
from us has been altered either by you or us, it may not be returned,
unless:
- We made the alterations to the garment and the alterations
were not conducted according to your order. For example,
the trousers ordered from us were not altered to the correct length
as indicated on the order; OR
- There is a defect in the manufacturing of the garment.
For example a defect in the material; AND
- The altered item was returned to us within 30 days of the date
of the invoice.
Altered merchandise that
is returned will be inspected by us to determine the eligibility
of the claim. If we determine the claim to be warranted, we
will process your return in the same manner as outlined in the "Unaltered
Merchandise" section above.
Altered
Merchandise - means any changes to the origninal
condition of the item including but not limited to cutting and/or
sewing done to the garment that prevents and/or limits the garment's
ability to be resold as new. All tailoring done to
a purchased item constitutes altered merchandise and includes but
is not necessarily limited to hemming of trousers, taking in or
letting out of a waistband, shortening of sleeves.
Refund
Process - We will refund or credit the value of
the item and any taxes you were charged. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
If you are returning an item for a refund and you paid by credit
card, we will credit the credit card that was used to make the purchase
and send you a receipt.
If you need to return your
merchandise, please complete the RETURN FORM enclosed with your
package. Then repack the product in the materials used to ship the
item to you, and enclose the return form. If you do not have a return
form, please provide a copy of your invoice and circle the items
