Men's Sportcoats at Delbert's For departmental purposes of our website, we use the term "sportcoats" to refer to all sportcoats with patterns.  Sportcoats that are solid in color (regardless of button treatment) are categorized as blazers.  We have a separate web pages dedicated to men's blazers. Our Sportcoat Selection. . . Like our selection of suits, we carry a wide range of sport coat sizes as well. The men's sport coats range from chest size 38 to 60. We stock men's sport coats in short, regular, long and extra-long. We also stock portly sport coat models as well. You will find our collection of men's sport coats available in a wide range of fabrications. These fabrics include wool, cashmere, silk, linen, and bamboo to name a few. Sportcoat Models We carry sportcoats in two button and three button models.

How To Determine Your Sportcoat Size

A sportcoat size is determined by measuring the thickest part of a man's chest in inches. Begin by measuring just under your arms, across the chest, and over the shoulder blades. When measuring, it is important to keep the tape measure parallel to the floor. This will help to assure you are measuring the thickest part of the chest area. Trouser sizes are determined by measuring the waist at the belt line. In most cases, the belt line will be found just on top of your hip bones.  The trouser measurement is important to determine whether a standard cut or a portly cut is needed.  A portly cut sportcoat has more room in the stomach area than a standard cut sportcoat.  For detailed directions to help you determine your size, click here.
