How Men's Dress Pants Are Sized

At Delbert's, our men's dress pants are sized by the waist measurement in inches and also by the type of trouser rise: regular, long or short.  The rise reflects the room in the seat and crotch area.  Typically, tall men or men who like to wear their dress pants higher on their waist are prime candidates for long rise trousers.  Conversely, shorter men generally need a short rise dress pant in order to prevent the crotch from hanging too low and to keep the seat from becoming too baggy.  When in doubt, choose regular rise.  Please keep in mind not all of our men's dress pant brands may produce every size listed below.  Shop on-line for standard size men's dress pants or big and tall men's dress pants.
